Spectacular scenery graces our 500-acre therapeutic retreat, set against the backdrop of the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts.
Here in the bucolic countryside, covered bridges and historic family farms dot the landscape. Wildlife flourish and waterfalls flow from the Swift River – loaded with big rainbow trout for outstanding fly fishing. The surrounding Berkshires are a cultural haven and home to the Norman Rockwell Museum and summer residence of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Immerse Yourself In Adventure
Swift River will challenge you to grow stronger in body, mind, and spirit.
Along with counseling and clinical interventions, your recovery benefits from a broad array of outdoor adventures. Our therapeutically-sound wilderness program includes year-round outdoor activities. You’ll build confidence by learning survival skills in the wild – and how to thrive in your personal relationships.
But while these adventures in self-discovery may challenge your comfort zone, Swift River is far from a boot camp experience. You’ll go at your own pace, safely guided by counselors who uplift and encourage your personal growth.
